The purpose of this job is to perform a limited range of basic duties to handle, assemble, process and package product. Performs the following tasks and assumes related responsibilities:
• Orients lightweight plastic parts on conveyor belts and removes items from belts as needed
• Adds ink for printers
• Transfers certain products in and out of treatment units
• Loads and unloads certain products for printing operations
• Performs simple visual observation for gross defects while handling ware
• Counts and stacks items as needed
• Places plastic bag over counted and stacked items
• Places open end of filled bags into heat sealer and activates heat sealer to seal bags
• Puts sealed product into bins for transportation by automated guided vehicles (AGV)
• Changes lot numbers on heat sealer
• Completes simple hand assembly and packaging for bench work based on clear instructions
• Performs light material handling tasks – i.e.: stocks workstation with small quantities of supplies , stocks small quantities of caps (placing into cap hoppers) at machines using scoops , dumps regrind buckets or other small containers at the machines, etc.
• Handles lightweight ware-in-process (WIP) items
• Completes clearly specified operation and adjustment of equipment
• Clear minor equipment jams as necessary
• Performs equipment wash downs using alcohol and chlorine bleach
• Creates/makes shippers for related WIP products only (i.e. OEM)
• Follows all clean room manufacturing procedures and regulations
• Completes simple paperwork and records specified information
• Collects Q. C. samples
• Alert appropriate person when machine or equipment is not operating normally
• Follows clear instructions such as assembly sheets.
• Exerts effort equivalent to handling less than 15 pounds throughout the shift. Limited work may require greater effort.
• Cleans machines and production area as necessary and may assist in routine equipment maintenance, equipment set up and removal, or job changes
• Transfers alcohol from flammable storage to and from production.
• Maintains good housekeeping standards, follows all safety regulations and practices, Quality system standards, and complies with all Clean room Regulations.

Performs all duties and functions required to finish product, including assembling, packaging, inspecting, recording and documentation, training, planning/scheduling, and operation of machinery along with team tasks while meeting FDA/GMP/ISO regulations. Assumes other responsibilities and performs miscellaneous duties to support department and plant operations. Maintains good housekeeping conditions in plant, complies with all pertinent safety expectations, and observes safe work practices. Once certified will train others within that group.

Position Title: Material Handler-2nd Shift

Location: New Berlin

This position works from 3:45pm to 2:15am, Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities:
Receive and deliver incoming materials to appropriate locations. Pick and deliver WIP and component materials to filling area and stock WIP from Paint Making. Accurately count inventory, preform inventory tracking, and utilize computer skills to enter information about materials and products transactions in the ERP system. Prepare and inspect outbound carts of products being transferred to GAC Distribution Center and ensure manifest are complete and accurate. Prepare and inspect all outbound shipments to customers. Requires certification to operate multiple types of forklifts including counterbalance forklifts, sit down forklifts, stand up forklifts, cherry-pickers, and clamp and reach forklifts. Attention to detail is an absolute must for this position.

  • High School diploma or equivalent with additional training in computer applications
  • 1-3 years working in a manufacturing environment

Load/unload products onto and from trucks; review/complete documents; print shipping labels; perform cycle counts and inventory control; pick, pack, and label orders; check for quantities and quality; process orders; record identifying information; conduct inspection of products, orders, etc.; inform others of damages or shortages; complete required paperwork. Free or low-cost services and funding are available to help offset the costs associated with hiring and training:
Free Booth in Virtual Job Fairs. The WDB is utilizing Premier Virtual, a U.S.-based, Veteran-owned job fair platform. Premier Virtual is an easy-to-use job fair simulation that provides real-time interaction between recruiters and candidates, including video chat. Second shift works 3:45 PM to 2:15 AM, Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities:
Work in all areas of the Filling Department getting supplies ready for filling operation; running filling machines; capping, labeling, putting product away; helping to keep work area clean and equipment properly cleaned and put in the proper location; serve as a member of the filling team in attending meetings, assisting with work process improvements, helping team members where needed. Executive Director Search
As the chief administrator of the organization, the Executive Director has primary responsibility for managing the program, implementing its mission, and complying with New York State Education Department regulations. The Director also serves as Case Manager, in this role guiding students to needed social services. The Director, who serves as a principal representative to constituents and the public, reports to the Board of Directors.
Major Duties

  1. Recruiting and overseeing the work of volunteer tutors in a welcoming climate that attracts, supports, motivates, and rewards them.
  2. Overseeing tutor training in accordance with state and Literacy New York guidelines.
  3. Recruiting students in our two-county area of service, processing intake paperwork, and matching them with appropriate tutors.
  4. Developing and maintaining partnerships with other educational and social service agencies and with businesses to identify, recruit, and assist students in furthering their studies.
  5. Developing and maintaining partnership with social service agencies, following State case management protocols for assisting students in need of such services.
  6. Assuring that accurate records of student attendance are kept, that testing takes place in a timely manner, and that required reporting to the state and other agencies is carried out.
  7. Monitoring program progress toward meeting annual goals required by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) and by other funders, entering state data into NYSED databases.
  8. Assisting the Board’s Program, Public Relations and Fundraising Committees to carry out their initiatives, including grant writing.


Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field required with master’s degree preferred.
  2. Successful experience in an administrative or management position.
  3. Very strong communication skills (writing, speaking, presenting, dealing with the public), with experience in grant writing preferred.
  4. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Will serve as a liaison between the four partnering school districts and the college, RF, and NYSED. In coordination with school policies and procedures, will support the counseling needs of students and families. Will coordinate, in collaboration with the program's long-time Professional Counseling Coordinator, regular meetings with program staff to debrief challenging student and family situations as well as address strategies needed to work with students in the future. Works closely with LPP staff to make decisions pertaining to program development and implementation. Provide additional supervision for in-school and after school programming as well as other out-of-school times (i.e. field trips). Monitor progress of any and all student assessment tools and strategies (i.e. Student Success Rubrics, Personal Learning Plans, etc.)Mentor and assist the Clerk II in supporting the administrative needs of program staff. Attend required SUNY Morrisville meetings and activities. Assist with the hiring, orientation and annual evaluations of program staff. Oversee the reporting and recordkeeping responsibilities of the program. Oversee of the program budget and the approval of program expenditures. Meet monthly with the Assistant Director to assist in providing a continuity between programming at all four partnering school districts. Coordinate and host program Advisory Committee meetings. Coordinate efforts and resources of participating school districts and CBO's and serve on committees as appropriate. Provide and seek out necessary staff development training(s) and opportunities for program staff. Provide home visits when necessary. Employee is responsible for assisting the Driver Route Salesman to merchandise complete orders at the Customer locations.

Duties to include product delivery, customer verification, in store merchandizing and case fulfillment. Job Requirements and Qualifications: Strong attention to detail for verification of product types, numbers and code dates. Able to follow Customer specific display planograms and charts. Good written and communication skills. Ability to work extended and variable start time shifts and overtime. Full Time Compensation based on experience and background.
